Mariana Pereira: What I miss the most with this pandemic

Three gestures that we don't want to miss with this pandemic? I think this question is a bit difficult since we were deprived of so much that until now we did not care. I can start, for example with physical contact. I think it was one of the most difficult things to let go in this quarantine, the fact that we cannot hug or kiss a parent or a friend, especially our dear grandparents. It is something essential for the human being that we really miss. The second thing that I would not like to lose with this pandemic would probably be the interaction with other people. From the moment we were closed at home and continued to take classes online, it was very difficult to interact with other people. Yes it is true that we had cell phones, but it is never the same, and many friendships have become smaller and smaller. Finally, the last gesture that I would not want to miss with this pandemic would probably be good travel memories, memories of simple trips to a café or a shopping center. Memories of going to a water park, a beach or a summer festival without having to worry about social distance, masks and even a virus that stopped the whole world.
